The irrigation water is up and running on all of our orchard blocks.

Bill and I attend to this chore two times a day for the Sweetango blocks by our house. Every day one of us jumps on the 4-wheeler early in the morning and then in the evening after dinner to switch sections of sprinklers. If we’re paying attention, the drive through the orchard gives us immediate information about tree health and fruit development. Nothing compares to the early morning fresh air and smell of damp grass and sage on the hillsides.
