Description

Make your trail mix with freeze-dried blueberries, nuts, seeds, and chocolate chips for a portable snack. Freeze-dried fruit provides natural sugars for energy, while nuts add protein and healthy fats.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried blueberries
  • 1/2 cup almonds (raw or roasted, unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup cashews (raw or roasted, unsalted)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (shelled, roasted, unsalted)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate bar, 70% cocoa or higher)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1/4 cup freeze dried apples or cherries
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • A pinch of sea salt (if you prefer a sweet-and-salty mix)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • Mix the freeze-dried fruit, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and dark chocolate chips in a large bowl. If optional ingredients are added, include them here.
  2. Store:
    • Transfer the trail mix to an airtight container or resealable bags. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
